Save or discard changes on the settings steps and continue a draft later.
On Configure Product Settings and Configure Product Tags, Shopify's save bar appears as soon as you change something.
Save or discard before moving on
- Click Save to store your choices as a draft, or Discard to undo them
- Until you do, Next Step is disabled and you see: You have unsaved changes. Please save or discard your changes to continue to the next step.
Recover a draft
Drafts are saved in your browser. When you come back to New Task, a card shows You have an unsaved draft from followed by the date. Choose:
- Continue Draft — restores your selection, settings, tag configuration, and scheduling
- Start Fresh — begins a new task
The draft is cleared when you submit the task.
