What this message means and how to tag those products anyway.
A task can complete with the message All products already had meta tags. No changes were made. in its details.
What it means
Every product in the task was skipped, so no credits were used. Despite the wording, the message appears whenever all products were skipped, for any reason:
- Skip previously processed products (on by default) — the products already had tags from an earlier TAGit task
- The vendor name did not match any product exactly
- The status filters excluded every product
If you want new tags anyway
- Create a new task with the same products
- Check the vendor spelling, or leave the field empty
- Turn off the filter that excluded the products, such as Skip previously processed products
Products that have never been tagged are not affected by the skip option.
