Get more specific tags with better context and instructions.
If tags look too broad — like the product type, the vendor, or words from the title — the AI did not have enough context, or it returned fewer tags than requested and TAGit filled the list with basic product data.
Improve the results
- Turn on Consider product title and Consider product description in Settings
- Put key facts (material, use, style) at the start of descriptions — TAGit reads the first 500 characters
- Add clear product images; TAGit looks at up to 5 images per product
- Write a short Custom Prompt, for example Focus on material, style, and occasion
- Use Exclude keywords for words you do not want
Re-tag
Run a new task with Remove the existing product tags on a few test products first, check the results, then scale up.
