Skip previously processed products

TAGit Product filters

Avoid re-tagging products that earlier TAGit tasks already handled.

Skip previously processed products (help text: Don't reprocess products from previous tasks) is on by default.

How it works

A product is skipped when it already has tags and it was processed by an earlier TAGit task. Products that have no tags yet are always processed, even if an earlier task touched them.

Typical uses

  • Re-run an All the Products task to cover only products added since the last run
  • Run a weekly or monthly recurring task without paying again for the same products
  • Resume work after a task was cancelled

When to turn it off

Turn it off when you want a fresh pass on products TAGit already tagged, for example after changing the custom prompt or keywords. Skipped products are not counted as failures and use no credits.
