Replace current tags with new AI tags, or keep them and add new ones.
Remove the existing product tags decides what happens to the tags a product already has. It is off by default.
Off (default) — add to existing tags
TAGit keeps every existing tag and adds the new AI tags next to them. Tags that already exist (compared without case) are not duplicated and use no credit.
On — replace existing tags
TAGit removes the product's current tags and writes only the new AI tags. Use this when supplier imports left random or misleading tags.
Be careful
- Removed tags are not restored by TAGit — export your products from Shopify first if you may need them
- Tags used by automated collections, filters, or other apps will disappear too
- Test on Specific Products before using it on All the Products
