Cancel or delete a task

TAGit History

Stop a running task or remove a task from your history.

Cancel task

Available for Pending and Processing tasks. Choose Cancel task in the ⋮ menu and confirm.

  • The task stops and shows Cancelled
  • Tags already added to products stay in place
  • You can start it again later with Retry task

Delete task

Available for every task. Choose Delete task and confirm.

  • The task and its results are removed from History
  • This action cannot be undone
  • Tags already written to your products are not removed

Recurring tasks

Cancelling or deleting one run of a recurring task in the table does not stop its schedule. To stop future runs, use Cancel recurring task in the Scheduled Task Automations card.
