What the AI looks at, how tags are written, and what happens to existing tags.
For each product in a task, TAGit sends the product's data to an OpenAI vision model and asks for the number of tags you chose (1 to 7).
What the AI looks at
- Up to 5 product images (resized for fast analysis)
- The product title, when Consider product title is on
- The first 500 characters of the description, when Consider product description is on
- The vendor and product type
- Your custom prompt and include/exclude keywords from the task
How tags are written
- Short tags of 1 to 3 words, up to about 20 characters each
- Written in the language selected in Settings
- Unique, SEO-friendly, without quotes or special formatting
New tags are added next to the product's existing tags unless you enable Remove the existing product tags. Duplicates are ignored.
